Anyone who’s breastfed will remember a moment whilst feeding, where you looked at your child and became transfixed. Whether it was looking into their eyes or watching their little mouth. And if you continue your breastfeeding journey, you get the moments when they starting talking and giggling whilst feeding. There is a magical moment every so often when you look at them, maybe they look back at you, and whatever else you have going on, all that matters, is that mini human in your arms.
Hermione’s breastfeeding journey began in 2014 when her oldest son was born. When she fell pregnant with her second 6 months later, she continued to breastfeeding throughout pregnancy and then tandem fed her sons until the oldest naturally weaned at four and a half. The youngest is still happily feeding at four and a half, so she has lots of these memories at various stages.
